The Settings tool is stand-alone tool that can be launched from applicable tools with a

Settings

menu, such as the Dashboard, BSP Assistant, Library Manager, and Project Creator.



Only one instance of the Settings tool can be launched at any given time. If you attempt to launch more than one instance of the tool, only the first one will remain active while all others will close.



Note:

Only the newest installed version of the Settings tool can run. For example, if versions 3.5 and 3.6 of ModusToolbox™ software are installed and you attempt to launch the Settings tool from version 3.5, it will close and 3.6 version of the Settings tool will be launched.
