Running a simulation creates a range of files in the output folder.

The created files are:

Proprietary result file (.apb)

APB folders contain the results of a simulation in a proprietary format. They are collections of individual files that store the various aspects of the result data (among them

.apb

files).

The content of an APB folder is similar to the content of a CSDF file, but APB folders cannot be used for data exchange with other tools.

Saving results in Waveform Viewer creates APB folders.

CSDF result file (

.csdf

)

CSDF files contain the simulation results in a text-based format that enables data exchange with other tools.

Output log (.lis)

The log file of the simulation process.

Input processor log (.msg)

The log file of the input processor of the simulation engine.

Netlist (.net)

The netlist that was used for the simulation.

Titan-specific netlist (.tit)

A version of the netlist that includes settings specific to Titan, the simulation engine of InfineonSpice.

Other files

Other output files are intermediate files that are created when a simulation is run. These files contain no independently usable data. File types created include, among others:

analogBlocks

,

.cdf

,

.dir

.dp

,

.lock

,

.ppw

.

Some of these files are not shown in the main InfineonSpice window but can be accessed by right-clicking the output folder in the

Workspace

view and choosing
