Place
Find elements for constructing a schematic in the Place menu.
- To create a simulation you need to access the structures to build a schematic from this menu into the Workspace View. These elements can also be found on the ribbon above your Workspace Tab. These elements can be placed on Print Area Frame of the working View of the schematic or project. Click on the desired location to drop the element and press escape to exit from the element choice.
- Select
- Components placed on the main window can be selected one at a time or all at once.
- Ground
- Access a symbol for ground.
- Resistor (EU)
- Access the EU symbol for a resistor.
- Resistor (US)
- Access the US symbol for a resistor.
- Capacitor
- Access a symbol for a capacitor.
- Inductor
- Access a symbol for an inductor.
- Current Source
- Access a symbol for a Current Source.
- Voltage Source
- Access a symbol for a Voltage Source.
- Diode
- Access a symbol for a diode.
- Wire (narrow)
- Access a narrow wire.
- Wire (wide)
- Access a wide wire.
- Wire Name
- Enter a name for a wire that can be placed on the wire.
- Solder Dot
- Access a symbol for a solder dot in the event that you have wires crossing and wish to denote a node.
- Line
- Access a line.
- Rectangle
- Draw a rectangle
- Text
- Text can be entered and placed in the schematic.
