A project is exported using the Export command, making it available to other users.

About this task

Export a project when you want to make it available outside of your copy of InfineonSpice, for example, to give it to another user or to archive it as a backup

Procedure

  1. In the Workspace view, right-click the project that you want to export and choose Export.
    The Export Project dialog opens.
  2. In the Export location field, specify where the exported project will be saved.
You can enter a path or choose the location by clicking Browse.
  3. In the Project Items list, check the items you want to export and uncheck those that you do not want to include in the export.

If an item depends on other items, you can expand the item to show those other items. They can be checked or unchecked just like the main items.

It is possible that a main item is unchecked, but the dependency is checked and so will be included in the export.

  4. If you want to exclude some profiles and simulation results from the export, select the item to which they belong in the Project Items list and uncheck the unwanted entries in the Profiles and Results list.
  5. If you do not want to include any external files on which items in the project are dependent, uncheck them in the List of files from external dependencies that will be included list.
  6. Click OK.

Results

The specified elements are exported as a project file (a Zip file with the .ifzip extension). These files can be imported by other users of InfineonSpice.
