Setting up a project

Setting up a project ensures that all required elements for the design are available.

About this task

Set up the project when you create a new project or when an existing projects is missing some required components.

You can perform some or all of the steps described below when setting up a project.

Procedure

  1. If the project does not yet exist in the Workspace view, create it as described in Creating a new project.
  2. If required components are missing, add them to the project.
A new project always contains the basic components that InfineonSpice supports. In addition, you can:
  3. If the project requires more than one circuit, add any missing ones.
Each new project already contains one empty schematic (circuit). You can add schematics in several ways:

Results

The project contains the elements you need to work with the circuits.

What to do next

Build the circuits as described in Working with schematics.
