PSOC™ 4 High Voltage (HV) overview
The PSOC™ 4 HV product family provides one-chip solutions for smart sensor automotive designs. PSOC™ 4 HV integrates high-precision programmable analog blocks and programmable digital blocks, along with a high-voltage (12V) operation. This integrates communication transceivers such as LIN/CXPI PHY and an Arm® Cortex®-M0+ CPU with embedded memory. The PSOC™ 4 HV is Automotive Electronics Council (AEC)-Q100 qualified.

PSOC™ 4 HV Precision Analog (PA) is a fully-integrated programmable embedded system for battery monitoring and management. This system features an Arm® Cortex®-M0+ processor and programmable and reconfigurable analog with high-precision sigma-delta ADC, digital blocks, and high-voltage sub-system included LDO and LIN transceivers
PSOC™ HV Mixed Signal (MS) is a fully integrated programmable embedded system for several automotive HMI, body, and power-train applications. This system features an Arm® Cortex®-M0+ processor with programmable and reconfigurable analog and digital blocks with 5th generation multi-sense converter (MSC) block supporting capacitive sensing (CAPSENSE™) and a high-voltage sub-system including LDO and a LIN/CXPI transceiver

Use cases
As a 12-V automotive battery monitoring MCU: PSOC™ 4 HV PA features two high-precision delta-sigma ADCs to measure battery voltage, current, and temperature. The on-chip processor uses this information to calculate various parameters including state-of-charge and battery health. This information is reported to engine management and other computers via a serial LIN interface
