Introduction
This release introduces the documentation for the Linux ecosystem for Infineon AIROC™ wireless devices. It brings together an overview of AIROC™ Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi + Bluetooth® combo solutions, application notes, software resources, and other supporting documents for Linux-based product development.
What's Included
This release provides the following content:
- Linux AIROC wireless overview: An overview of Infineon AIROC™ Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi + Bluetooth® combo solutions for A-series host processors, including product-lifecycle support, regulatory compliance, and Wi-Fi Alliance interoperability certification.
- Linux AIROC wireless application notes: Links to AN232689, the Wi-Fi software user guide, and AN234191, the WFA certification guide.
- Linux AIROC wireless software: Links to the Infineon repositories for backports, device tree files, firmware, hostapd, Linux Bluetooth patches, Bluetooth® firmware and BTSTACK examples, and the Longma Linux release notes.
- Linux AIROC wireless other documents: Links to the connectivity technical brief for Linux, the i.MX8 getting-started guide, the Wi-Fi software user guide, and Infineon developer communities.
Updates and Revisions
This is the initial release of the documentation. Future updates will be recorded in the Release Notes section with a summary of new, revised, or removed content.
